A new Iowa law changes which vape products stores can sell, starting .
Why? A new Iowa law. The state is publishing a list of approved vape products, and once it is published, Iowa stores can only sell products on that list.
Is this our choice? No. The law is House File 2677, passed by the Iowa legislature. Stores that sell a product not on the state's list face fines of $300 per product, per day, and can lose their tobacco permit.
Is vaping illegal now? No. You can still own and use your device. What changed is what Iowa stores are allowed to sell.
What does this mean for you? Some products may become harder to find in Iowa after the state publishes its list. If there's something you buy from us regularly, ask us about it at the counter.
Will the date change? It might. The state calls an estimate. If it moves, we will update this page and post in the store.
