Overview

Dude, Where's My Vape ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and our retail shop in Shenandoah, Iowa. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

You must be 21 or older to use this site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data your browser provides automatically. Specifically:

• Contact & request details — when you use our contact form or Private Stash request, we collect the name, email address, and message or product details you enter.
• Age confirmation — when you pass our age gate, we store a simple flag in your browser so you are not asked again. We do not store your date of birth.
• Basic technical data — like most websites, our hosting may log standard information such as browser type and general location for security and performance.

We do not sell products online and do not collect payment or credit card information through this site.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your questions and messages.
• To source and set aside items you request through Private Stash.
• To confirm you meet the legal age to view our site.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

Age Verification

Because we sell age-restricted products, visitors must confirm they are 21 or older before entering. Your confirmation is remembered in your own browser (for your session, or for 30 days if you choose "remember me"). In-store, a valid government-issued photo ID is required for every purchase, no exceptions.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local and session storage to remember that you passed the age gate. We do not use this to track you across other websites. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings, though you will then be asked to confirm your age again.

Site Analytics

We count visits to this site with Umami, running on our own server rather than an advertising service. It uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses, respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting, and keeps its counts until we delete them.

Third-Party Services

Some parts of our site rely on trusted third parties, and your interaction with them is governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Maps — used to show our store location and directions.
• YouTube — used to embed our videos.
• Facebook — links to our page and Messenger.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share it when necessary to run our business (for example, a service provider that helps us operate the site) or when required by law.

Data Retention

We keep contact and Private Stash messages only as long as needed to help you and to keep records of your requests, then remove them when they are no longer needed.

Your Choices

You can choose not to submit the contact or Private Stash forms. You can clear your browser storage to reset the age gate. To ask what information we have about you, or to request that we delete it, contact us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

This site and our products are intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
